COFFEE

Coffee has its history in Vietnam for about one hundred and fifty years, since the first seeds were introduced by the French and Portuguese missioneries.

Today, Vietnam cultivates this crop, that provides aromatically-fascinating seeds after roasting, on more than five hundred thousand hectares of land. An annual production output of more than eight hundred thousand metric tons was achieved in year 2006.

Cultivation is mainly concentrated at the Western Highland region. The Robusta coffee is the main variety grown all over the country. The Arabica variety is grown in the north and constitutes less than twenty percent of the total national output.

Vietnam exports its coffee to many countries in the world, in particularly the U.S.A. and Europe. It is now the world’s second largest national exporter of the Robusta coffee.

Our company obtains supplies from the major state-owned and private producers, and engages the services of international assayers to ascertain the quality and quantity of various grades for export.

Standard export packing is of 60-kg PP or jute bag.
