Long Grain White Rice
|
 |
Vietnam is an agricultural base country. Its rice is mainly of the Indica-Japonica variety and is cultivated intensively in the Red River Delta (northern region) and the Mekong Delta (southern region). Although the long grain white is the most common item, Jasmine, short grain and glutinous rice are also produced.
Vietnamese rice is exported to many countries all over the world. It is also exported to the U.S.A., Iran and Japan where the demand for quality is very high. Vietnam now exports 4.5 million to 5.0 million tons annually.
Our company secures our supplies directly from major state-owned and private rice mills. We work very closely with them to meet the exacting needs and satisfaction of our clients.
The standard rice export packing is 50-kg PP woven bag,. Packings of 25-kg and smaller can be arranged too.

THAI RICE Thailand is blessed with vast areas of fertile soil. Rice is planted in about 10. million hectares of land, yielding about 16.0 million tons of milled rice, of which 7.0 million tones are exported annually, making it the world’s largest national exporter.
The largest producing area is in the north-east region, followed by the central. All types of rice grades are grown. They are namely Hom Mali (also known as Jasmine or fragrant rice), White (also known as polished or milled rice), Parboiled (Pre-steamed to remove excessive starch) and Glutinous (Sticky rice) and they are available in different grades.
Thai rice is mainly exported to China, Indonesia, Singapore, Iran, Nigeria and the U.S.A. We work with rice producers directly and also through our associates based in Thailand to ensure high quality rice, competitive prices and prompt deliveries are secured. Standard export packing is 50-kg PP bag. 25-kg and retail packings are arrangeable.
